VELYS™ has many advantages over the older systems in the market:
It does not require a pre-operative CT scan, which means that your surgery is not delayed.
It allows the surgeon to assess your knee in real time during the operation and position your knee replacement in the most accurate and appropriate position for you.
It does not require additional incisions.
Mr Veysi also uses VELYS™ to operate on more complex cases such as revisions and patients who have had previous operations in their legs (eg. previous fractures and patients with metal rods/plates and screws due to previous surgery).
